I love this stamp set by Lawn Fawn! It also has a die set that goes with it which makes creating this card so much easier.
The "claw" slides back and forth across the top. I cut the claw machine out several times to get the effect I wanted. The machine is 3-dimensional with a sheet of clear plastic over the face. I used designer paper to create the sides and background and colored the machine and toys with Copic markers. I stamped and colored a few extra bears and popped them up on 3 dimensional pop dots, as well as placing one in the drop which I cut out on the top layer of the machine. I colored the unicorn with Copic markers and attached it to the claw with a glue dot.
When I finished I realized that the bottom portion of the back machine was very visible. I did not color it in because I didn't think it would really show. So I cut a piece of white cardstock and folded it into a rectangular box then adhered it to the inside to look like the bottom of the machine where the toys sit. This actually worked out better because it added more stability to the card.
I cut a little tab to stamp my sentiment on and attached it to the side of the machine. And of course, no card is complete without some sparkle! I used Wink of Stella on the unicorn, the "tube" the toys drop down, and the back of the machine as well as the hearts across the top.
Because of all the dimension in this card it is not really suitable for mailing. It's great for hand delivery though! The card is a standard A7 (5 x 7). I made an envelope for it because it won't fit in a standard envelope.
It's not perfect but I'm pleased with the way it came out. I have some ideas on how to improve it to make the next card even better. Oh...and did I mention that I LOVE this set?! This has definitely got to be one of my favorites.
I tried to record the card "in action" but unfortunately my recording skills are even worse than my photography skills! SMH Hopefully some day I will master one or the other or both.

GNOME BIRTHDAY CARD
This is a clean and simple card I made for my sister for her birthday. The stamps are from the You Gnome Me collection by My Favorite Things.
I layered a piece of dp on the base and then cut a stitched circle using my Big Shot. I inked the top portion of the circle with Tim Holtz distress ink Broken China and then used the grassy border die from Lawn Fawn to create the grass base of the circle. Next I stamped the Gnome, snail and mushroom and colored them using my Copic markers.
The two flag banners were cut from a Spellbinder die and adhered to the green background. I attached the snail to the top of the mushroom and used 3 dimensional dots to adhere it to the circle with the gnome, which is also popped-up. I added 3 dimensional pop dots to the circle and adhered that to the background, slightly overlapping the banners.
Ha! And finally I left the house to go celebrate our birthday and left the card sitting on the kitchen table - where I would be sure to remember it!!! So she received a belated birthday card in the mail. All's well that ends well...😊

"FIRST BIRTHDAY" CARD
A birthday card for baby's first birthday. The stamp set I used is from Doodlebug Design: Boys Set. The balloons were stamped from a Crafty Secrets set and then fussy cut. I used Copic Markers to color the balloons and animals.
I used an argyle embossing folder for the face of the card and cut three holes down the side using the stitched circle dies. Then I cut frames for the holes using the same set.
The face of the card is popped-up on the base and I also used 3 dimensional pop dots on the animals and the balloons. As a final touch I added some baker's twine to the balloons for strings.

DANCE RECITAL CARDS
I made these cards for two of our grandchildren for their dance recital this month. None of the cute ballet or tap stamps I have would suffice - they are in an acro-dance class (acrobatics and dance combined).
This stamp set was perfect for the occasion! The "let's taco 'bout how awesome I am" fits my grandson's personality perfectly. LOL. The same goes for "you're the sweetest" and our granddaughter.
The stamp set is Tasty Trucks from Stampin' Up. It can be made into a hot dog truck, a taco truck, an ice cream truck or a dessert truck; so lots of possibilities and so much fun.

It doesn't show up in the pictures but I added Wink of Stella to the windows and the headlight on both cards and to the ice cream, frosting and awning on the "sweetest" card. After all, no card is complete without some sparkle!
I added ribbon to the "Sweets" card and twine to the Taco card to cover the paper joining and popped both trucks up with 3-D pop dots to add a little dimension.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY POP-UP CARD
This is my latest birthday card. The stamp set is Balloon Adventure from Stampin' Up. The insert in the center was cut using the Thinlits Balloon Pop-Up, also from Stampin' Up.
The balloons were stamped and then the overlay (stripes/polka dots) cut using thinlits from the same set as the pop-up. I used Wink of Stella to add a shimmer to the balloons. It doesn't show up well in the photo but it is so pretty. I added baker's twine for the balloons' strings on the front of the card and then popped the balloons up using 3-dimensional pop dots to give it a little more dimension.
As you can see there is plenty of room for a message/sentiment on the inside of the card.
This set has a lot of possibilities. I kept this card simple because it was for a teenager but I have a few ideas for this set for a younger child's card. I can't wait to experiment!
Thanks for stopping by.

TINY CRITTER - BUNNY
I have a couple of new little critters at my house!
I used a heavier weight yarn (4) and a larger crochet hook (Size G) for mine so they are a bit larger than the original design. My boy bunny was made from a different brand of yarn so he is slightly larger than the girl...perfect as the "big brother."
The bunnies are worked exactly the same and then a little skirt is added to the girl and I added a simple bow for her hair. The turtle neck was added to the boy's sweater. Simple but cute!

MORRIS THE MOUSE
I just love this little guy; he's so personable and sweet! I don't want the live version of him running around my house but I wouldn't mind a few Morris's.
He has jointed legs and arms so he can be posed and he can even stand.
