This is a simple little notecard to celebrate spring. The stamp is the Bird Bath Stamp from DRS.
I stamped the birds twice, fussy-cut one set and placed them on top of the stamped image to give it a little dimension. I used Wink of Stella on the water to add a little shimmer. The image was colored with Copic markers. Finally, I used an embossing folder with vines and birds on it for the blue background.

BIRD'S NEST BOX CARD
I have a nice spring card to share with you today. This is the Bird's Nest Box Card from the Springtime Box Card Collection found on svgcuts.com.
The card has two inserts with a dimensional branch & flowers on the front. I used 3-dimensional pop dots to attach the eggs and I distressed all of my edges. The DP is from Graphic 45; unfortunately I cannot remember which collection but I love the paper. I have never seen a collection from them that I didn't love! Their paper is very vintage...my favorite.
There is a spot on the back of the card to add a sentiment or a message and the card makes a nice decor to have sitting on a shelf this time of year.

SEA SHORE SHAKER CARD
This is a shaker card I made for my daughter's birthday. She has three boys; the older two have taken sailing lessons in the past and her youngest will be starting this summer. When I saw these stamps I knew this would be the perfect card for her. The little boy could pass for her youngest, out on the beach hunting shells. So sweet...
The images are Impression Obsession stamps colored with Copic markers. I layered the colored image on a piece of brown cardstock for a nice border. Sand and micro beads were added to the shaker dome to complete the card.

TILDA AND HER BUNNY
Tilda just hanging out with her bunny.
This is a Magnolia stamp from the Butterfly Dreams collection: Tilda and Her Bunny. The image was colored using Copic markers. The bunny was stamped twice. I fussy-cut the second image and adhered it to the first using three-dimensional pop dots.
Who wouldn't love to receive a lovely note in this cheerful spring time card?

TILDA WITH BASKET OF EGGS
Tilda's all ready for Easter with her basket of colored Easter eggs. The eggs have a Wink of Stella giving them a nice little shimmer. I'm not sure how well it shows up in the picture.
She was colored using Copic markers then layered on cardstock, DP, and another piece of cardstock.
The stamp is from the Magnolia collection Butterfly Dreams: Tilda Holding Egg Basket.

I'M ALL EARS NOTECARD
Pure Innocence Stamp - I'm All Ears
The image was colored with Copic markers. The ears and the dress were paper-pieced and then a plain green ribbon added on the side for a little dimension; nice and clean.
I just love the simplicity of these little girls.

EASTER BOX CARD - REVISITED!
As I said in an earlier post - I LOVE THIS CARD! However, after looking at it for a bit I began thinking I really should have done the flowers in purple. 1) Purple is my favorite color 2) Purple is already in the frame and the DP 3) See number 1. 🙂
So I decided to change it; and I was right - purple is better!
Do you agree?
Hmmm...pink might be pretty as well.

ROCKET BOX CARD
This is the box card I made for our grandson's birthday. It was cut using my Cricut Explore.
I like to add a little pocket to my box cards to stick some cash in since we generally gift money; can't go wrong with that, right?
I love the detail on this card. It was so much fun to make and of course it was the only one of its kind at the party. Win-win!

DUCK
Meet the newest addition of my amigurumi family, my lovely little duck. She stands approximately seven inches tall and has a removable bonnet. I worked her up using a size G hook and yarn from my stash - Red Heart SS in lemon, pumpkin, pretty n pink (my fave!) and turquoise. I embroidered her eyebrows on with embroidery floss.
She has a cute little "Pebbles" style hairdo going on with a little bow attached to the top of her head. I think she's pretty sweet.

EASTER EGG BOX CARD
I love this card! This is my all-time favorite project - ever! I love the vintage "feel" of the card, I love the paper I used; I just love everything about it.
I used Graphic 45 paper for the dp. Don't you just love the ladies? and the flowers? and the colors? The egg was cut from a pink marbled paper, I added just a touch of purple under the white around the opening of the egg, some fuzzy flock on the bunny's tail and I popped up some of the eggs with 3-D adhesives to give the card a little more dimension. The base of the card (the blue paper) has a shimmer to it, which doesn't really show in the picture, but it's gorgeous!
Now I'm thinking perhaps purple would have been a better choice for the flowers....hmmmmm.

POP-EYED SNAIL
This is my attempt at the Pop-eyed Snail. It's not perfect, but I think he's cute. I'm hoping to try again (learning from my mistakes - I hope!😊 ) The pattern isn't real specific so I had to sort of "fudge" a few things. I also did not add wire to the antennae because of safety concerns. I think I have come up with a few ideas to fix the issues I had - time will tell.
I used scraps of yarn from my stash and a size G crochet hook.

CHICKEN LITTLE
HOTH: Chicken Little
I used Red Heart SS yarn and a size G hook for this little fellow. It didn't take long at all for him to win my heart. He just looks happy, doesn't he?
An added bonus is that he is entirely crocheted; no safety eyes, buttons, etc., making him safe for the little ones.

CROCHETED TEA SET
How cute is this?! I used Red Heart Super Saver and a Size G hook to complete this set. I love the way it turned out. It made me think of all the little Tea Parties and the Teddy Bear Teas I had with my girls when they were little. I hope it puts a smile on your face as well.
I will be making some more "oreo" cookies. It seems what I thought was dark brown yarn was actually dark purple! Lesson learned - don't choose your colors when it's dark and you're tired. In the light of day they are clearly purple. LOL.
