This is a spa set I made for a basket that I donated for a local benefit.  The set included two face cloths, four face scrubbies and one soap holder.  They were all worked in crochet using 100% cotton yarn. I had the pattern for the soap saver on my pinterest page but unfortunately when I try to bring it up it says "this blog has been removed" so I am not able to provide a link for you. 😞  I  worked up my own random pattern for the face cloths and the scrubbies.

Another birthday card...this one for a preteen granddaughter.  I love the House Mouse collection (even though I'm not at all fond of mice!).  This stamp is from the Mice Wishes set. The card was colored using Copic markers and highlighted with A WINK OF STELLA clear.  I'm not sure if you can see it but the frosting on the cupcake and the flames on the candle are "sparkly."  I  finished it off with a few rhinestones in the corners.

This is a birthday card I made for a 20+ male who enjoys camping.  The stamp is from Inkadinkado and was colored with Copic markers. The labels are layered and the "Celebrate" is up on pop dots.
I left the inside plain for room to write a personal birthday message.

That's it for today!  Enjoy your day and Happy Crafting!

Cute little C2C Gingerbread Afghan.  While this one is rather "Christmas-y" I think this would make a very nice baby/toddler gift by simply changing the border colors. I'm still not sure how I feel about C2C's but it definitely worked for this one.  I love how it turned out!
This was a CAL hosted by Delz Crochet in November 2016.

A closer view of the border.

Another masculine birthday card.  This one for someone who enjoys the sport of fishing; and who doesn't love Snoopy and Woodstock?
Image was colored with Copic markers. The labels were cut using dies and a Big Shot and adhered to the front of the card with 3-d pop dots...nice and simple!

HOLIDAY CABLES THROW

This afghan was worked in RHSS yarn in Aran.  I added fifteen inches to the width and length with the final measurements being 64" x 75."  (I like my afghans nice and big! )
I love the texture and the variations of this pattern. I think it would be great for any age/gender, worked  in any color.
If I ever finish all of my current WIPs I will be making another one of these, however that won't be for a very long time.

This card was created for my teenage grandson using the Good 'Ol Sport stamp set from Graphic 45.  I stamped the ball player and the baseball with brown ink and used my Big Shot and dies to cut the label and tab, layered my papers and placed the ball player on 3-D pop dots to add some dimension...very simple and clean.

This cute little hat and purse was worked from a crochet pattern from the 1950's.  I purchased the pattern from Mary Maxim; you can find it here -  http://www.marymaxim.com/curl-headband-purse-pattern.html . It's actually a headband rather than a hat and there are curls in the back to resemble a pony tail; sized to fit a toddler. I used RHSS yarn in Perfect Pink. The little purse is worked in the same stitch as the headband.
What little girl wouldn't love this set to keep her warm on a cold winter's day?

January was a busy birthday month at our house, which meant more than a few birthday cards.  This is the card I made for my 5 year old grandson, who just happens to love Toy Story.

I

Woody was stamped on a stitched circle and then I used pop dots to adhere it to the front of the card to give it some dimension.

I stamped and colored the "gang" with copic markers and then fussy cut it and glued it to the interior of the card.  I chose to write a personal birthday message rather than use a stamp for the greeting.
