MARILYN MOOSEROE

The card for today is Marilyn Mooseroe.  She is part of the Riley and Co. stamp family and I just love her!  She was colored with Copic markers and then I added Wink of Stella (of course) to her dress and to the grate she's standing on.  
The designer paper is something I had in my stash. I used Tim Holtz's Tea Dye distress ink to distress the edges of the paper then added a couple of half pearls to each side of the image just to add a little something extra to an otherwise very simple and clean card. 
The image is adhered to the front of the card with 3-dimensional pop dots.

(The streaks going across the card are actually not on the card.  They are an example of my great photography skills! It was very sunny out when I took this picture...I never complain about the sun.)

"STAYING COOL" NOTE CARD

I used the House Mouse stamp "Staying Cool" for this note card.  

The image was colored with Copic markers. I used Wink of Stella on the ice cubes and glossy accents on the thermometer to give it a little extra something. 

The background piece was embossed with Sizzix "Branches with Leaves" embossing folder.  I used turquoise cardstock for the borders and some turquoise ribbon to finish it off.  I just love the purple and turquoise together!
